"One side is warm and the opposite side is cool. I love these pillows as a matter of fact, I’m ordering two more. Did not come with smells or anything. I washed the cover several times, no problems. When sleeping on this pillow, your body will heat it up just a little. If I feel a little warm. I just scoot over to the other end of the pillow that is cool. It cools very fast. That’s why I’m buying two."

"I have used this pillow for 2 nights now, The first night was ridiculously HOT - I woke up soaking wet. I flipped the pillow over and was fine the rest of the night. Then last night, before I went to bed, I made sure I was on the \"cool\" side before I layed my head on it. After about 10 minutes laying there, it was already hot, like encasing me in heat.. So I again flipped the pillow... and I stayed cool most of the night. I have not slept through the night in over a year, Now last night I slept decently - Did I still wake up, yes, but not because I was stupid hot for the first time in a year."

The cooling side isn't quite as cold as I would like but significantly better than a regular cotton stiffed pillow and has helped with the neck support I was lacking for so long. It is a perfect size for an individual at the best price. It does have a a pinch of weight but it's very ideal and holds it's form perfectly without getting lumpy or sagging."
